Covid-19 Ekurhuleni Foodbank

Akwethu is proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to the City Of Ekurhuleni Covid-19 foodbank initiative.

Arts Business Summit

Akwethu Engineering has also previously proudly supported Ekurhuleni Arts Business Summit. The summit is an annual non-profit event which is dedicated to strengthening the connection between business and arts fraternities. Other partners to the summit are: Ekurhuleni Creative Arts Division, SAMRO (South African Music Rights Organisation), CAPASSO (Composers , Authors and Publishers Association), BASA (Business and Arts South Africa), SARS (South African Revenue Services ), GEP (Gauteng Enterprise Propeller).

School Shoes Initiative

Akwethu was part of an initiative that took place in the Township of Katlehong were school kids were presented with school shoes. The initiative programme was done with the two schools, namely Thulisa Primary and Cathula Primary Schools.

ADM Foundation Football Academy

As part of its interest in the development of kids socially, Akwethu Engineering proudly supported the ADM Foundation Football Academy in Soshanguve with in soccer kits, soccer balls and training equipment.
